Absolutely beautiful 1911 Mammoth Ivory Compact/Officers Grips light color like elephant ivory and very good figure/grain.  Mammoth ivory does not get any better that this, we have used the last of it.  This is not like the heavily cracked, glued and dyed ivory commonly seen, this looks like great ivory should. Swirl screws are shown as an option, we recommend the Renaissance wax to protect the ivory from staining or aging.  These will NOT fit a full size 1911 frame,  Compact/Officers model grips are shorter, approximately 3-3/4” in length. We paid alot for this ivory, that is why these grips are more expensive.

Made from genuine woolly mammoth check your local state laws. This ivory is at least 10,000 years old and we use only the best quality to insure that they are as tough as modern elephant ivory but, with the magic that only extinct prehistoric mammoth ivory has.
