When photographing nature, clouds are often relegated to the background. However, this cloud was so magnificent that I felt it was its own subject. Reflecting on this photo, I hear David’s psalm:

“The heavens declare the glory of G-d, the sky proclaims His handiwork” - Psalms 19:2

The famous commentator on Psalms known as the Radak proposes that the verse does not mean that the sky itself declares anything, but rather that when we humans look up at the sky, we will come to declare the glory of Hashem. Inspired by this scene in the sky, I captured its grandeur as my personal declaration of the glory of Hashem’s handiwork.
