I’ve stared at the barn across the street from our house for the past year. Every season, the view seems to surpass the last. The sun rises off to the left, just over the hill and spills its’ warm golden light across the field every morning. I’ve dreamt of capturing it ever since we moved in to this house – painting it in my head – blocking in the spectacular colors and dancing my brush across the canvas in attempt to recreate the same warmth and energy the sun gives off so effortlessly. I finally put my ideas to canvas and decided that I need to paint a few barn paintings.
