This adapter plate can be used on your MK Indy R and MK Indy RR Ford based chassis. 

Because the Ford Sierra replacement parts are becoming harder and harder to find, you can fit a Ford Escort steering rack to your MK Indy with this adapter plate. The Ford Escort steering rack offers a 2.4 ratio straight out of the box without the need to upgrade into a quick rack.

It is possible to fit your Escort rack with a 2.2 ratio steering rack for and increase in responsiveness from the steering

Purchased from us, the Ford Escort rack is brand new and will allow you to have a new registration when building your car from stratch

You will need to change the length of your steering column to steering rack link bar if you are upgrading from a Sierra steering rack as the splines for the steering rack are in a slightly different place.
