The ARM MK6 Jetta/GLI 3" Downpipe comes with a V-Band turbo flange for those versions of the 2.0T which have this style flange from the factory. If you have the standard 4-Bolt turbo flange, click here. The ARM MK6 GLI downpipe boosts power up to +20whp and +30wtq, improves turbo spool and enhances the exhaust note on your 2.0T, all in one product. A downpipe upgrade for your 2.0T is the single most effective hardware upgrade you can invest in for your GLI! By replacing the OEM downpipe with the ARM MK6 GLI Downpipe you will increase exhaust gas velocity due to increased internal diameter, smoother bends and removing the obstructive catalyst.

CONSTRUCTION

The ARM Jetta/GLI downpipe features a full 3" stainless steel construction with smooth bends for improved exhaust flow. The upper section of the downpipe has a CNC-machined V-Band flange that mates up to the turbo.

The upper section of the ARM GLI Downpipe incorporates a flex joint to relieve stress on the turbo during aggressive driving, and will also make installation easier.

The ARM MK6 GLI Downpipe is further secured to your vehicle using a CNC machined mounting bracket which installs directly into the OEM rubber grommets on your subframe.

The ARM MK6 GLI Catless Downpipes is designed with a 4" resonator in the midpipe section to give your 2.0T a rich, deep tone. You will notice your GLI has a growl on startup and is much louder on wide open throttle. On part throttle it is a very subtle increase in tone, but when you put the pedal down you will notice a large change in exhaust volume.

The ARM downpipe kit is designed to fit both CPLA and CPPA applications, so you can be sure that no matter which version of the 2.0T you have, the ARM downpipe will accommodate all of the O2 sensors on your Jetta/GLI.

CATBACK EXHAUST COMPATIBILITY

The ARM Jetta/GLI downpipe will fit the existing OEM catback exhaust or any aftermarket exhaust that connects the OEM downpipe. The ARM downpipe kit includes a 3" to 2.25" reducer to allow it to mate up perfectly to the OEM exhaust system. Or you can choose to leave off the adapter and connect to a 3" aftermarket exhaust system for a full 3" turbo-back setup.
