The underwater light systems manufactured by JW Fisher are suited for any of the different underwater structural inspections encountered by commercial divers today. These lights driven from the surface provide continuous illumination for lengthy underwater work.

The DHL-2 Diver Held Light system was created for divers who desire direct illumination control. Two light housings are fixed to a sturdy grip handle, allowing the diver to regulate the light beam's direction and distance from the item being illuminated.

The SL-2 is a single underwater light that may be fitted to a diver's helmet or any underwater structure. SL-2 lights can also be ganged together for applications that need several lights.

Both the DHL-2 and SL-2 offer focused underwater illumination for depths of up to 300 meters. The lights are available with 100- or 250-watt, high-intensity bulbs. These lighting devices can be powered by a battery or a small generator (with an inverter).

The light housings are made from high-impact, corrosion-resistant epoxy and urethane to provide years of trouble-free operation. The buoyancy of the lights is slightly negative, and they weigh just ounces in the water. Powerful tungsten halogen bulbs provide the light beam. The unique water-cooled construction of Fisher's lights extends the bulb's lifespan. Each system includes a 150-foot abrasion-resistant cable and an underwater connection at the light as standard equipment. Each system is powered by 120 volts ac. At the surface, a ground fault circuit is installed for the protection of divers. Options include 12 volts dc (inverter), 220 volts ac (transformer), up to 1,000 feet of wire, 250-watt bulbs, and replacement parts kits.
