The DUNGS MBE consists of one valve body (VB series) and two valve drives (VD series) and combines two normally closed, safety shutoff valves in one compact housing. The VB-L series comes standard with a factory installed vent line connection between the two valves whereas the standard VB series does not. The Valve Drives (VD-X) come standard with a mechanical valve position indicator and are available as an on/off shutoff valve (VD-V) or as an on/off shutoff valve with pressure regulator (VD-R). VD-X-POC incorporates overtravel and a proof of closure switch. The VD-R requires an additional Pressure Sensor (PS) based on the outlet pressure desired. The combination VD-R with PS is available as a zero governor/ratio regulator or as a positive outlet pressure regulator with two options, up to 200” W.C. (~7.2 PSI). Each Valve Drive is slow opening (~ 7 s) and fast closing (< 1 s).

Application: The MBE is recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications that require two safety shutoff valves in series. The MBE is suitable for natural gas, vaporized propane or butane, air, 100% hydrogen, biogas up to max. 1% vol. H2S, and other inert gases.
