Model PH101010G (Xtreme) is a 10 ft long (10" Diameter), 120 Volt, pipe wrap heater with Rapid Ramp Technology. Now you can thaw and freeze protect your pipes with the same wrap! This model is engineered to completely wrap around 8" pipes. The Rapid Ramp technology is a smart feature of the blanket that allows for an accelerated initial "heat-up" time. Through a network of thermal switches, the blanket will utilize 1800 watts (15.00 Amps - w/20 Amp Plug) to rapidly thaw frozen pipes or provide freeze protection. After the pipe is thawed and/or heated, the blanket automatically reduces power consumption to 900 watts (7.50 Amps) to prevent further freezing. This model is UL/ETL/CSA/CE certified.
