The iconic Päijän rowing boat has been a fisherman’s reliable and stable companion since the 1960s. The two-layer boat, filled with non-degradable urethane, is made 100% by hand, and sometimes not everything meets our high-quality standards. Most commonly, the paint may have some marks, or sometimes it’s a bit more than that. We call these boats "syntymämerkillinen / birthmarked," and now you have the chance to buy your own unique boat at a special price.

"Syntymämerkillinen / Birthmarked" boats are solid Päijän quality except for minor or larger imperfections. We want to act responsibly, and we don't think these boats should be sent to recycling; instead, we want to give them a new home somewhere in Finland.
