Experience the Ocean's Wonders

Our checkout dive is a comprehensive experience that includes a daytime dive as a prerequisite for night diving. This 1.5-hour session is designed to give you a taste of what Malibu Divers has to offer. While no gear is required, we encourage you to bring your own snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, boots, gloves) and any additional gear such as a dive computer if you have it. Our flexible scheduling allows us to accommodate your schedule, often with an evening briefing after dinner on the day of arrival.

Guided Dive Sessions and Additional Opportunities

At DLD, we pride ourselves on providing guided dive sessions for certified divers, with night diving available as an exciting option. Our pros ensure that every dive is safe and enjoyable. After completing the checkout dive, you have the opportunity to add a night snorkel or engage in more dives or additional training. To participate, you must be at least 12 years old and provide proof of certification, a signed PADI Medical Release, and a parent/guardian signed release. For those already registered for UCSD Camp weekend, this checkout dive is an essential addition to your experience.
