With the I²S Module you can easily switch from USB to I²S input.

Please note: for Jade, Onyx and Amethyst, 2 versions of motherboard exist. One with and one without a black 4-pin power connector under the input module slot. If your DAC does not have this 4-pin connector, your device needs to be modified by Metrum to accept the I²S module. Then, switching between I²S and USB inputs is not a plug and play process. Fill in and print an RMA form, contact us, and send your Jade, Onyx or Amethyst for modification.

For DACs with the 4-pin connector it's a plug and play procedure. Always ground yourself to prevent static electricity as this can cause errors. Contact customer service if you would like assistance in placing the module in your Metrum Acoustics product.
