- This produces a stronger seal that is more resistant to fluctuations in humidity and temperature. It cannot be dislodged or removed without trace, so is a very effective tamper-evident deterrent.
- With a greater rigidity than plastic tape, it is also easier to apply without creasing or stretching and once it has adhered it will not lift, so presentation quality is very high.
- Due to its instant, permanent adhesion it also requires less tape to achieve a satisfactory bond, so tape meterage and application time are both reduced and the cost per carton is less than that of plastic tape. Reinforcement with fibreglass strands increases the tape€™s burst resistance.
