The Sapphire SmartMove Electric Projector Screen is a game-changer for high-ceiling applications, making it an ideal choice for churches, school halls, auditoriums, and theatres. Engineered to address the challenges of very high ceilings or stage settings, this innovative screen offers a revolutionary design that allows for both the screen and the barrel casing to be lowered for an extended viewing area. With its ability to drop down from the barrel casing and lower the barrel casing itself, the SmartMove provides unparalleled flexibility and convenience.

Advanced Features and Specifications

The SmartMove is equipped with two motors, ensuring smooth and precise operation. One motor is designed to drop the screen casing up to 5 meters from the mounted position on built-in metal wires, with an adjustable drop level that can be remotely controlled at ground level. This feature simplifies installation and provides seamless control. The secondary control determines the drop of the projection fabric from the screen casing downwards, powered by a supplied reel fitted at roof level. This design allows the power to unwind as the screen drops and retracts back, rolling the electric lead automatically. To power the screen, a single gang plug at roof level is required.

Superior Fabric and Practical Applications

The Sapphire MovieSmart fabric is a triple-ply fibreglass laminate that prevents wrinkles and waves, ensuring a smooth and professional appearance. This special material also helps to prevent light loss, making it compatible with non-short throw projectors. The fabric is designed to be fire, water, and mould resistant, and can be cleaned if necessary. With microdots made using PVC technology, the fabric provides the best possible reflection. The 1.1 gain reflects the same amount of light back as the projector produces, achieving a true cinema experience. The back of the fabric is completely black, allowing it to be placed in front of a window. The SmartMove is also compatible with the Sapphire Screen Trigger Kit (sold separately) and is RS32 capable. Supplied with safety straps for additional security, we recommend professional installation for the best results.
