Advanced Features and Specifications

The SmartMove screen is powered by two motors, each with distinct functionalities. The first motor enables the screen casing to be dropped up to 5 meters from the mounted position on built-in metal wires, with an adjustable drop level that can be remotely controlled at ground level. This ensures easy installation and control, making it ideal for complex environments. The secondary control determines the drop of the projection fabric from the screen casing downwards, with power supplied via a reel fitted at roof level. This reel unwinds as the screen drops and retracts the electric lead as it retracts back, requiring only a single gang plug at roof level for power. The two motors are radio remote-controlled, with the remote able to operate the fabric and hoist wires separately, and the supplied remote control can operate the screen up to 25 meters away. The screen is also compatible with the Sapphire Screen Trigger Kit (sold separately) and is RS32 capable.

Superior Fabric and Safety

The Sapphire SmartMove Electric Projector Screen is equipped with a matt white fabric composed of triple-ply fibreglass laminate, which prevents wrinkles and waves, ensuring a smooth and professional appearance. This special material helps prevent the loss of light, making it compatible with non-short throw projectors. The fabric is designed to be fire, water, and mould resistant, and can be easily cleaned if necessary. The top layer of the fabric features microdots made with PVC technology, creating the best possible reflection. With a 1.1 gain, the screen reflects the same amount of light back as the projector produces, achieving a true cinema experience. The back of the fabric is completely black, allowing it to be placed in front of a window. For added security, the screen is supplied with safety straps, and we strongly recommend professional installation to ensure optimal performance and safety.
