The Sapphire SmartMove electric projector screen is the perfect solution for high ceiling applications such as churches, school halls, auditoriums and theatres. A revolutionary product designed for installation where an extra drop is required to cope with very high ceilings or stage settings.

This specialist projector screen has a unique design which allows you to drop the screen down from the barrel casing, but also drop the barrel casing itself lowering the viewing area even further. 

The SmartMove has two motors.

One motor is designed to enable the screen casing to be dropped up to 5 meters from the mounted position on built-in metal wires. The drop level is adjustable and remote-controlled at ground level providing easy installation and control.

There is a secondary control to determine the drop of projection fabric from the screen casing downwards. Power is via a supplied reel which is fitted at roof level which allows the power to unwind as the screen drops. As it retracts back the coil rolls back the electric lead. To power the screen you will require a single gang plug at roof level.

The two motors are radio remote controlled and the remote will operate the fabric and hoist wires separately. The supplied remote control can operate the screen up to 25 meters away. This screen can be used with the Sapphire Screen Trigger Kit (sold separately). RS32 Capable.

Fabric Specifications

The Sapphire MovieSmart provides an innovative solution to the problems long fabrics are prone to (curling, hanging in the way of stage lighting etc)

Sapphire's matt white fabric is composed of triple-ply fibreglass laminate which helps prevent wrinkles and waves. The screen fabric consists of a special material that helps prevent the loss of light, making it compatible with non-short throw projectors. Our screen fabrics are designed to be fire, water, and mould resistant and can be cleaned if necessary. The top layer of the fabric has microdots that are made with PVC technology that helps create the best possible reflection.

The 1.1 gain reflects the same amount of light back that the projector produces achieving a true cinema experience.

The back of the fabric is completely black enabling you to put this in front of a window.
