This kit is a reissue of the Vulcan/Eric Underhill kit for the Sierra Leone Hunslet No 85 / WLLR No 14 in 7mm:ft scale, designed for 16.5mm gauge.
The kit is mostly comprised of etched brass for the chassis and bodywork, and whitemetal for the boiler and detail castings. Some whitemetal parts have been upgraded to lost wax brass - all created from the original patterns. The etched cab and tank sides and front are a pre-formed assembly.
Please note that wheels are included but motor and gearbox are NOT provided. Neil Sayer has used a High Level gearbox in his test build.
Please note this is a scale model for adult collectors, and not intended for children under 14 years of age.
