Important things to remember:

• Nakto cannot supply duplicate keys for this battery so be careful. You may be able to have a duplicate key made at your local hardware store - do this immediately to insure you have a duplicate in case of loss.
• Nakto can supply an entire lock set which can be installed in the battery case (see video further down this page)
• When charging the battery, ALWAYS connect the battery and charger first. Then plug the charger into the wall. Not doing this can blow the battery fuse. 

How to take the battery out of the bike.

1. Flip the seat down; there is a small blue bar under the seat. Pull that bar up to remove the battery, then put the seat back.

2. While pushing the key in, turn the battery key counter-clockwise to unlock. Pull the battery out.

If the charger light is always green when charging does this indicate a battery problem?

If the light is always green when charging, this typically indicates that the fuse is bad. Replace the fuse. (see video below)
