As a result,the bow thruster motor is maintenance-free and has Endurance Rated* run time! Only thetailpiece and the power circuits require regular maintenance. The induction motor is controlledby the VETUS MCV motor controller. This in-house-engineered motor controller can handleboth 12V or 24V board systems, making the new BOW PRO thruster suitable for almost allboats. The combination of built-in over-temp and low-battery protection with the brushlessinduction motor make the BOW PRO thruster series highly resistent to misuse making these thrusters ideal for even the most inexperienced boater!The BOW PRO thruster is controlled by proprietary CAN BUS protocol (digital control).
