For sale here is a wonderful and very scarce Hardy Wide Drum Perfect with a rare and uncatalogued version of the 1912 check mechanism. 3 1/2" diameter. Nickel silver rotating lineguard. There are no apparent repairs or unoriginal parts. Full length unmolested smooth brass foot. No chips, cracks or dings. The tensioner works perfectly throughout its range. Very strong check. Ivory handle is perfect. All stamps are consistent. The reel retains the majority of its original finish and has no noticeable wobble or end play.
