For sale here is an exquisitely-crafted leather rod and reel combination "backpack-style" case by leather artist, Annie Margarita. This 39 inch long rod case that includes painted carvings of a brook trout and a Kern River golden trout (and even some alevins) was constructed to fit up to a 9 foot, three piece rod and is properly padded for protection. The reel case is lined with thick shearling and is large enough to accommodate anything from a 2 7/8" diameter reel up to a 3 5/8" reel, and wide enough to accept a wide drum reel within this range as well. The reel case detaches from the rod case via a leather strap with buckles. The external shoulder strap on the rod case is adjustable.
