For sale here is a Hardy Palakona "Taupo" #7 10' bamboo fly rod. Three sections with one tip. Probably made that way. All original with emerald silks that contrast nicely with the light cane. Rod is in good condition although it could use a polishing. Tip has a very slight set to the left. All other sections are straight. Medium action for a 7 or 8 wt, would be a great rod for swinging flies. Ferrules sizes 21/64 and 15/64. Rod weighs 8 1/4 oz. Originally made in March of 1961. Comes with three piece bag and very nice leather rod tube.
