For sale here is a Jim Reams 8'6 2/2 5wt hollowbuilt bamboo rod. Serial no. 234-12-09. The rod is in excellent condition having been fished sparingly. All sections are full length and straight. Transparent caramel guides with oxblood tipping. Lightly blued guides. The tips are differentiated by one or two dots at the ferrule along with the serial number. Full wells grip with only light soiling. Beautiful up-locking blued nickel silver sliding band reel seat over a mortised burl wood spacer. The blued Swiss-style ferrules are size 14/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs 4 oz. The action is on the medium side of medium-fast with a full-flexing character.
