For sale here is a Jim Hidy hollow-built bamboo rod - 7'6" 3/2 3wt. No. r22931H-3. The rod is in excellent+ condition. All sections are full length and straight. 

The rod features mildly tempered cane with a light mottle-flamed look. Transparent olive wraps with red tipping. The ferrules are wrapped in black with olive and red tipping. Each of the tip-tops are wrapped in a different color to differentiate them. Blued hardware throughout. Agate stripping guide. The full-wells grip measures 5 3/4" in length with only slight soiling. Elegant blued nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a mortised maple spacer. The Swiss-style micro ferrules have a perfect fit. The rod weighs a svelte 2.95 oz. with a crisp medium-fast dry-fly action capable of the utmost finesse and delicacy while maintaining plenty of backbone in the butt section. A terrific rod for gin-clear waters and spooky trout. Includes the original bag and tube.

Coupled with a process of hollow building well into the upper part of the rod, the result is a combination of lightness, quicker recovery (dampening) and pleasure of fishing.
