Trending Rl Winston Fiberglass Fly Rod 8'6" 2/1 #4 Series [K1NrL2Dm]

A very nice RL Winston fiberglass rod, 8'6", 2-piece, 1-tip and built for a #4 line. This is a San Francisco era model made before the move to Twin Bridges in 1977. No serial number. Medium-slow full flexing action. The rod appears to be unfished and still has the Winston paper hang tag and small pouch containing a bit of ferrule wax both tied to the keeper. Sanded burgundy blank with a spigot ferrule, and the rod sports the Winston San Francisco Champion Cup logo halfway between the grip and the stripping guide. Cap and ring reel seat over a cork spacer. The rod packs into a bright orange bag and the original aluminum tube with the Winston logo sticker affixed to it.
