For sale here is a custom George Maurer (Sweetwater Rods) bamboo rod -- 8 feet 8 inches for an 8 weight line. Three sections with two tips. A bruiser of an atlantic salmon or steelhead rod!

The rod remains in near mint condition with very minor soiling on the grip from test-casting only. All rod sections and arrow straight and full-length with no repairs. No evidence of this rod ever hitting the water. Up-locking german silver reel seat hardware over a gorgeous wood spacer. Rubber bumper at the end of the rod to assist at fighting large fish. Reverse half wells grip. The rod weighs 7 7/8 oz. with size 19/64 and 15/64 Super-Z type ferrules. The tips tops are size 6/64, or .0965". Medium fast action with a progressive taper.
