For sale here is a Dingley 3 1/2" Perfect-style fly reel in very good condition. Retailed by Alex Martin Ltd as the "Thistle" model. Foot is original and unaltered - 2.5". No end play or wobble - a very tight reel! Spool width is 0.85". Marked with a "2" throughout. Nicely crazed erinoid handle spins freely. Most of the original leading on the reel has worn away. Reel springs have been tuned for LEFT HAND RETRIEVE and the drag is nice and strong. This reel weighs 10 oz.
