For sale here is a Dr. Paul Hermann Salmon fly reel. This one is right-hand retrieve. Used but still in excellent condition. The reel comes with a very nice Arne Mason leather reel case.

If you ever have a chance to own one of these reels, you are very lucky. Dr. Hermann only made a little over 200 of these salmon models, a little over 100 Baby Hermanns, 20 Large Trout Models and fewer of the remaining two models, the Dry Fly Salmon and the Sea Trout. You will simply not find another salmon reel with such a fine drag system, built to handle whatever you are lucky enough to hook into. Every single handmade part of this reel, even the screws, screams quality craftsmanship.
