Unlike its predecessor, the badassBox 5 is compatible with a wide range of motor systems, given the right adapter set. Therefore keeping your badassBox 5 when upgrading your eBike is as easy as ordering a new suitable adapter. Another novelty is the ability to update the firmware of the badassBox 5 through your own mobile device. On top of that, the optional Boost Buddy App provides a speedometer and access to personal configurations of the box. Energy is supplied by the good-old AAA-Battery, which saves the use of special cables and makes the installation a breeze. The inner circuits are protected againt moisture and mechanical stress through a special filling compound.
