Introducing the Levitator Type 2

The Levitator Type 2 is the latest evolution of our iconic wider noserider design, the Original Levitator. After the introduction of the Continental model, the Levitator took a backseat, but with the release of the Levitator Type 2, it's back with a vengeance. This all-around square tail log is designed to excel in all conditions, focusing on speed and maintaining the traditional attributes of a noserider.

Design and Performance

The Levitator Type 2 has been reimagined by Matt Calvani, who took the design in a different direction to create a hybrid log with performance characteristics. The board features a drive to navigate critical sections while maintaining glide speed, and the ability to make faster, tighter turns. This is achieved by adding an edge in the tail that transitions to a 60/40 rail in the middle. The outline has been narrowed overall, especially in the nose and tail, while still maintaining its signature pointed nose. This design allows for a wide point slightly forward, making it an excellent noserider even with the narrower nose. The elimination of the step deck also adds more volume in the nose, offsetting the need for additional width in the original version.

The Levitator Type 2 is constructed with (2) 3/16" Darkwood stringers for added durability and stability. It features a #5777 Sea Grass Tint Reverse/Clear bottom patch and a G/P single box design. The fiberglass fin included ensures optimal performance in all conditions. This board is perfect for those who seek a high-performance noserider that can handle a variety of waves and conditions.
