Lyman's Single Cavity Round Ball Bullet Molds are made from solid leaded-steel and machined to an exacting, super smooth finish. All Lyman™ round ball molds are heat treated which, causes the metal to appear blue in color. The mold features hardened steel alignment pins that provide you with years of bullet casting.

The mold's sprue plates are made from solid steel, which are ground flat and held tightly in place with tempered steel spring washers and screws. In addition, Lyman™ molds required break-in time is often half the time required for iron molds. These molds require large mold handles which are sold separately. Lyman™ Round Ball Molds are designed to cast perfect balls with a minimum sprue to ensure the kind of accuracy that target shooters have come to expect from Lyman molds.
