A 7’x8’ four season tarp is the most basic and lightest form of shelter, whether you’re out for the day or the complete season. When hunting the depth of the backcountry, getting there light and coming out heavy, is your main objective. The key word here is light but, far from basic.

The Montana Hunters Tarp® is an ultralight, multi-purpose tarp, with it’s numerous setup configuration possibilities this tarp will live in your backpack at all times. It’s your impromptu rain shelter, poncho, ground tarp. Built with durable stake loops and reflective webbing. It can be pitched using trekking poles, paracord, rope or a tree branch. 

The Montana makes a great camp cook station or those days of never ending rain, snow, shade or hunting blind.

Constructed from advanced high-performance two sided multi-coated silpolyU™ and PU waterproofing on ripstop nylon. With heavy duty reinforced stitching and easy locate reflective loops. The inner seam has three light/gear hanging loops.  

For game meat transport and processing the small personal use we recommend the 4’x5’ Colorado HuntersTarp®. This tarp will get you out of the weather in a pinch and makes for a great poncho - gear cover.

Whatever system use, we suggest you practice setting up your favored configuration.

(Important Note) To protect the life of your tarp, be sure it is completely dry before storing. Wash: pre-soak using warm water and dish soap. Hand wash using mild detergent or recommended Grangers - Performance Wash. Hang dry.
