Phil Wood bottom brackets are absolutely legendary. Like all Phil Wood bottom brackets, the main purpose of this bottom bracket is to be able to take the day in and day out wear and tear of both serious riders and quality product enthusiasts.

Outboard Bottom Bracket (OBB) Cups are manufactured for integrated spindle and crank systems, and are engineered with stainless steel cups for durability and longevity and with Phil Wood Premium Bearings for performance.

The aluminum inner sleeve engages into the stainless cups supported with o-rings for a secure fit and further protection from the elements, and the whole bottom bracket unit is polished to the traditional Phil Wood silver finish.

If you plan to use a SRAM GXP crankset, you will need to also purchase this adaptor separately.

This bottom bracket is serviceable and compatible with most crank manufacturers.
