RAMIA’s Diamond 1800 is a nod to the need for a relatively large and stable platform that can accommodate both left- and right-handed users with reversible mounting vises. The 1800 utilizes two front vises – one in the traditional manner on the front of the work surface and one on the end in place of a traditional tail vise, with double rows of bench dog holes from both vise mounting positions that increases the versatility of the platform. Both vises utilize central screws and double guide rails to ensure precision and long service life. RAMIA uses European Beech with quality construction techniques and superb fit to produce a bench that satisfies the need for both the professional and hobby woodworkers. The 1800 is a tad over 116 lbs., with an overall length of 70.86” and a 24.01” width. A tool trough or well runs the full length of the work surface, and an open tool shelf is included underneath the work surface.
