The Mizuno Wave Sky 8 provides comfort and breathability, from the moment you put them on. The shoes utilise a smooth stretch woven upper which offers a soft, enveloping fit that gradually stretches horizontally without stretching vertically. This therefore provides the shoe with a tighter and more secure fit than previous models, locking in the midfoot and reducing in-shoe movement. The weaving technique enhances breathability across the entire instep by allowing a constant supply of airflow to travel through the shoes. A traditional lace-up system provides you with a secure, locked-in fit, for distraction-free strides.

Mizuno Enerzy NXT Midsole

Constructed using Mizuno's ultra-soft and responsive midsole, the Wave Sky 8 has a Mizuno Enerzy NXT midsole, to provide you with next-level comfort and performance. Extremely lightweight the cutting-edge materials in the top of the midsole provide energy return to keep you bouncy on your toes and push you towards your next goal. This compound is made from eco-friendly resources without compromising on performance or comfort, however, it now has excellent breathability to keep feet cool. At the bottom of the midsole is a Mizuno Enerzy Foam which adds extra cushioning and even more energy return. A Mizuno Wave plate provides a snappier, speed-oriented transition from heel to toe and helps to store energy during flexion and create greater propulsion during toe-off. The midsole also has U4icX, a unique compound developed by Mizuno providing high comfort and performance. The compound is also extremely lightweight, which will help keep the overall shoe weight down.

X10 Carbon Rubber Outsole

The outsole of the Wave Sky 8 has been made using X-10, a durable carbon rubber which allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and supplements traction at the heel.
