A great vintage Yamaha you won't afraid to rock out with at the gig! This is a Yamaha SG-800 in Persimmon Red. BUilt from only 1979-81, the SG-800 was a sort of stripped down version of the SG-1000 or 2000. The guitar has a mahogany set-neck construction with 22 frets, coil-tappable Yamaha humbuckers and a stopbar tailpiece. The guitar has a non-original bridge installed which has a fair amount of corrosion on it. There's a bit of fretwear up until the 12th fret and the original knobs have been replaced with black speed knobs. It still plays nicely and is ready to go for even more years of service. A newer padded gigbag is included.
