This is a vintage J-50 ADJ by Gibson built in 1965. The guitar is in fair to good condition: cosmetically it has all of the wear you would associate with an acoustic that's been played for over 50 years. There's a very slight bridge lift happening where it's not yet wide enough to be able to be glued back down and we are selling the guitar in as-is condition. It will definitely need attention in the instruments future. A previous owner also installed a pickup system with an endpin jack and soundhole mounted controls.
The good part about this guitar? It sounds fantastic, a few of us really took to this one when it came in. A comfortably worn-in neck and warm J-50 tone from tonewoods that have opened up perfectly over time. It includes the original vintage case as well as a sturdier modern case for safe keeping. It is currently tuned to E Flat to put less stress on the bridge.
