This is a used and in overall excellent condition Yamaha BB734A bass. The Yamaha BB "Broad Bass" has a rich history, extending all the way back to the late '70s. These instantly recognizable basses are a great alternative to the norm - and this BB734A is a great value too! For well under $1000 bucks, you get a vintage-inspired Yamaha bass with some premium features! The body is made from 3 pieces - a solid alder top and back sandwiching a maple center, which improves resonance and accentuates midrange. The 5 piece maple/walnut neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard and features a 6 bolt Miter neck joint. It's loaded with alnico 5 magnet YGD Custom V7 pickups paired to active electronics, and a very cool "convertible" bridge, with a special diagonal loading angle if you string through the body - or you can top load it! It also features lightweight open gear tuners and a unique multi-point pickguard.
