Aqua Ultraviolet UV clarifiers will clear your water in 3 to 5 days -- sometimes overnight -- and keep it that way. Performance is guaranteed when sized, installed and operated according to instructions. This model twists so that the inlet/outlet do not have to be lined up. This allows for more flexibility in installation.
- As a clarifier, the Classic 40W UV controls green water in freshwater ponds up to 6000 gallons (assuming 50-75% plant coverage and partial shade)
- As a sterilizer, the Classic 40W UV eliminates green water and controls bacteria in freshwater aquariums up to 2000 gallons (maximum flowrate of 2900gph) or saltwater aquariums up to 325 gallons (maximum flowrate of 967gph)
