Clutch FABBRI racing Race FB45

FABBRI RACING produce especially high quality clutches and clutch baskets, suitable for the Vespa smallframe models. They stand out from the usual aftermarket clutches with an extremely clean and reliable operation, combined with a simple construction and compatibility with many original peripheral parts. This eases its inclusion with most engine setups and also allows certain other FABBRI RACING parts, along with those of other manufacturers, to be retro-fitted following initial project completion. All this at excellent value for money!

The FABBRI clutch for the Vespa smallframe models is based upon the design of the original PK XL II type. It includes aluminium friction plates, sixteen springs (8 internal, 8 external), a special pressure bearing with an integrated oil deflector plate and a lighter, reinforced inner basket. This item is, along with the upper and lower plates, machined from solid Ergal alloy billet.

The clutch is available in two versions :

1. Standard version up to 36 PS (FB 36).

2. Suitable for up to 45 PS. Its Ergal components are strengthened by being anodised.

The FABBRI RACING produced clutch baskets are an ideal complement to this clutch assembly and include a primary drive repair kit. It is also CNC machined from a solid block of a tough steel alloy. The outer plates are provided with cut-outs, reducing weight while retaining sufficient stability.
