BD's Screamer line of turbos offers drop-in, stock-appearing units that deliver added power without the need for major intake or exhaust modifications. The L5P Screamer for 2017–2023 Duramax engines features custom compressor and turbine wheels engineered for increased airflow and reduced exhaust gas temperatures — all while retaining low-end performance and emissions compliance.

Using OEM turbo housings, the Screamer is machined to accommodate a larger 66.2mm billet compressor wheel and a 67mm turbine wheel, providing up to 80 lb/min of airflow. With supporting modifications, this turbo is capable of producing up to 680 horsepower.
