T Sportline engineers have created the perfect air filter replacement and evaporator cleaning kit for the Tesla Model S / X.   Our kit starts with the DIY-friendly Kool-It Evaporator cleaner, which is used to clean your air conditioning (evaporator) heat exchanger.  The notorious 'dirty laundry' or otherwise 'funky' smell often found in Teslas is due to a dirty evaporator coil.  The Kool-It cleaner will knock-out that smell and get you back to freshness.   Next our kit includes new HEPA-grade air filters, designed specifically for Tesla Model S / X fitment.   Our kit includes the simple tools you'll need for getting to the evaporator and swapping in the new HEPA filters.

What is HEPA?  It is a type of pleated air filter. It is an acronym for "high efficiency particulate air filter" (as officially defined by the U.S. Dept. of Energy).  This type of air filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns (µm). The diameter specification of 0.3 microns corresponds to the worst case; the most penetrating particle size (MPPS).  Any dirt or airborne particles that are larger are trapped with even higher efficiency. Using the worst case particle size results in the worst case efficiency rating (i.e. 99.97% or better for all particle sizes).  HEPA filters are recommended for anyone seeking the best air filtration possible.
