The 18x8.5" TSA Directional wheel's aerodynamic face allows for less drag optimizing vehicle range. The range gains and sporty good looks of the TSA wheel alone are fantastic, but the downsizing to 18” also significantly improves ride quality by increasing tire sidewall height to better dampen those hard-hitting bumps and potholes. And yes, improved protection against pesky ‘curb’ damage comes with the 18” wheel size! Downsizing the wheel yields a reduction in both mass and aero resistance.

Ride comfort quality is also improved with 18" tires, due to the added sidewall (0.300") cushion. The 18" tire package creates the most cushion to safeguard against pot-hole damage. The 4.8" tall sidewall also reduces the likelihood of 'curbing' your wheels, as commonly occurs on lower profile / larger diameter setups.

No, the Aero Covers / Hubcaps only fit on your factory wheels.

Yes, 18x8.5" TSA Directional wheels fit your factory Tesla center caps. They also fit your factory TPMS and your factory lug nuts. In other words, there's no need to use any aftermarket hardware. 

How are the 18" TSA Directional wheels made?
They are low pressure casted. They are tested to the JWL, VIA, SAE J2530 & TÜV standard.

Do I need to change the color of my existing lug nuts and center caps to match my new TSA Directional wheels?
That's an aesthetic decision only you can make. All TSA Directional Wheels come with T Sportline color-matched center caps.

Will installing your Wheel & Tire Package void my warranty?
Changing wheels and tires won't void your Tesla warranty unless Tesla can prove that our wheels caused the need for repairs. Also, we use factory-size tires only. In other words, your warranty will still be valid when your windshield wiper malfunctions, even if you've upgraded to our Wheel & Tire Package.
