Q&A 

Q: What is the best cleaner HR397 or HR397W?

A: HR397W is a waterborne cleaner , it absorbs into the wood and will make it slightly swell. After absorbs swells ( you cant see this) and flash dries it will leave the pores of the wood open to absorb the stain easily and to full strength.

HR397 will also work without any issues, but it will evaporate very quickly and not leave the pores open in the wood as a waterborne will.

HR1360 can also be used as a cleaner, but it will evaporate very quickly and not leave the pores open in the wood as a waterborne will.

Q: What grit sandpaper should I use before Foreverseal clear??

A: Presand with  is 120 or150  final sand is 220 or 240

Q: What is ways I can apply the Tamco Stain?

A:  Brush, wipe or spray.  Any rags being used must be lint free.

Q: Will any Tamco Clear work or just the Wood Finish Clearcoat?

A:  All our our Tamco Clear coats will work. We made a clear just for wood finish needs.  We recommend the Wood Finish Clear, but you could use any of our clearcoats.
