The Motobilt 6061 Aluminum Half Door Armor for Jeep TJ/LJ/YJ strengthens and protects your stock TJ, LJ and Jeep YJ half doors while also protecting the occupants sitting inside the jeep. All too often on the trail, your jeep will slide or roll into obstacles that can damage your doors and prevent them from opening properly. The TJ / LJ / YJ half door armor will strengthen the door increasing its resistance to deforming while adding an extra layer of protection to the passengers inside.

The door armor uses 5/16” counter sunk bolts and is made of light weight 3/16” 6061 Aluminum to be a consistent thickness with the rest of your Motobilt body armor and allows for easy egress into and out of your jeep. The kit includes the rivnuts for you to fasten the armor to the doors along with all the stainless steel hardware.
We countersink all mounting holes & provide you with stainless steel flush mounted fasteners to eliminate any chance of a rock or object getting hung up on an exposed bolt head.

The TJ door armor is designed in CAD and then laser cut to fit the stock TJ/LJ/YJ half door with ¼” reveal around the outside of the armor and is notched around the factory door handle, locks, and hinges. Just mount the door armor and go. The aluminum half door armor is shipped bare aluminum and may require some finishing work before being painted or powder coated.
