This is a voltage sensitive relay that connects a LiFePO4 battery to the starter battery when the alternator is charging. It communicates with a BUS BMS unit and will disconnect the LiFePO4 battery from charging if the BMS unit senses over/under voltage or temperature, and/or the starter battery is no longer being charged, i.e. the alternator is no longer charging. Current rating 230A.
NOTE: This product is specific to lithium installs.
