Improve Shifting Precision With the GrimmSpeed Transmission Mount - Street Version

The OEM chassis mounts prioritize reducing NVH and cost, however this creates a chance for enhancing performance. Intended to pair with the GrimmSpeed Pitch Stop Mount, these Transmission Mounts greatly enhance drivetrain rigidity for better shifting and increased driver confidence during dynamic driving.

 The primary element of this upgrade features 75A durometer polyurethane bushings designed to prevent excessive noise and vibration while preventing the transmission from shifting during high torque. It is designed to fit perfectly with most AWD Subaru manual transmissions, with a slight variation between 5 and 6 speed models, easily fixed with the included 5-Speed Adapter Spacer. This spacer is placed between the stainless steel bracket and transmission cross member for a seamless installation process. The Grimmspeed Transmission Mount also includes an OEM-inspired press-fit stud in the stainless steel bracket to reduce the risk of misalignment or damage to any hardware. All necessary mounting hardware is included, making installation effortless.

Designed With Performance In Mind:

Subaru offers a range of transmission mounts, including WRX (softest), OEM STI (middle), and Group N (stiffest). Despite the stiffness of the Group N, there is still room for improvement. These Transmission Mounts come with 75A durometer bushings, making them twice as stiff as Group N, five times stiffer than STI, and a significant sixteen times stiffer than WRX. This results in superior control over the transmission and drivetrain, surpassing any factory option.

Designed for both track and daily driving, the GrimmSpeed Transmission Mount maintains a comfortable ride while minimizing NVH during regular use. Our extensive testing of bushing stiffness levels has determined this to be the optimal balance for on-road usage.
