The base of 9005 bulb is designed with a washer which helps to seal the housing and prevent dust and moisture from getting into it.

The AMP and ballasts connectors have rubber gaskets to ensure tight connection. The factory plug is designed to fit the connection securely. No modifications are needed.

The kits come with two AC ballasts for HID lights. They have slim design and take less space than regular ones. In addition, they are shock- and waterproof! Kensun ballasts stand for high efficiency in any conditions. A set of screws and mounting brackets comes with the kit.
