Unique Integrated Filter-to-Housing Intake Design: Quantum uses an integrated filter-to-housing design by attaching both components with four captive screws for a positive surface area seal and quick and easy install. Quantum's roto-molded housing features a unique, five rib industrial grade look for long lasting durability and aFe quality recognition. Quantum Pro 5R Performance Air Filter: This system is equipped with our oiled, 360-degree radial flow air filter with five layers of progressive, cotton media providing maximum flow, performance and protection. Specifically designed for the Quantum Series intake systems, the filter features an injection molded base and top for lighter weight and rigidity. Captive screws are used to eliminate lost hardware and to securely fasten to the housing. The base includes a built-in, 3-angle velocity stack for smooth, even airflow. Inverted top filters offer more surface area for longer life an an exceptional look. Dyno Tuned Intake Tube: Quantum uses a dyno tuned, CAD-designed intake tube to achieve optimum air flow. It's made from high impact, XLPE material for heat soak resistance and durability while maintaining a perfect fit. Silicone Bellows Coupling: The Quantum Intake System includes a silicone bellows coupling to absorb excessive engine movement and provide flexibility for a secure and easy install. Quantum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation. Hassle-Free Installation: This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications. All clamps, couplings and hardware are included for a hassle-free installation. Note: This intake system is not CARB exempt at this time and is not legal for sale in California or use on vehicles registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles. All aFe intake systems are engineered and manufactured in our Corona, California manufacturing facility.
