For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Fantastic Restored Circa 1942 Sheaffer Lifetime/White Dot Triumph Fountain Pen in the Carmine/Red Celluloid. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, section, and barrel. Replaced the old packing unit with new, added a new plunger gasket, and new stainless plunger rod. Hand polished the Gold Filled Clip, Cap Banding and 14K Gold Triumph 2-Tone NIB. I also cleaned, buffed, polished, and waxed the barrel, cap, and blind cap to bring back the vibrancy and to protect the celluloid of the fountain pen.

This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap has the White Dot with gorgeous Gold Filled Clip that displays no gold fill loss. The wide, pinstriped Cap Banding displays a bright gold fill color with no gold fill loss. The barrel is clearly stamped with, "W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON, IOWA, U.S.A. PATENTED IN U.S.A.". Collector Alert: The transparency of the barrel is highly visulated with black pinstriping - it is Water Clear! There are no monograms or personalizations on the cap or barrel. This Sheaffer Triumph Fountain Pen measures 5 1/4" in length capped and 6" posted.

I have tested the plunger filling mechanism with water and fills and dispenses as it should. The Plunger Filling System works excellent and holds an enormous amount of ink.

This Sheaffer has the gorgeous Two-toned wraparound Triumph Waverly 14K NIB. The actual writing portion, the iridium, of the 14K Sheaffer NIB has a medium point measuring roughly .72mm when measured with digital calipers. When creating a writing sample, the NIB writes with a fine to medium stroke/line measuring between .59mm to .71mm when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This is a fantastic Sheaffer Triumph Fountain Pen in the Carmine Celluloid that would grade in Excellent+ Condition. The barrel transparency is in such immaculate condition and will be a prize for the new owner. Certainly, this fountain pen is collector grade and this fine writing instrument is ready to write with or just add to writing arsenal collection.
