For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked 1995-1997 Pelikan (Old Style) M400 Blue Striped Fountain Pen. This fountain pen has never been inked, mint condition, new old stock, and always contained in the box from a non-smoking home.

These Old Style Pelikan M400 Blue Striped Fountain Pens were produced from 1995 to 1997. They had the 2 chick logo, Blue Striped barrel, Black cap, and 14C Nib.

The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful blue color, polished with a high shine. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap of this fountain pen displays the gold plated clip and cap band. The cap banding is stamped with, "PELIKAN GERMANY". The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Pelikan M400 was manufactured in Germany between 1995 to 1997. This Pelikan M400 measures 4 7/8" inches in length capped and 5 3/4" inches posted.

This Pelikan M400 features Gold plated trim to the cap and are all highly polished. The Pelikan has fabulous barrel clarity and is water clear.

The Piston Filler works with such ease and perfectly in my tests with water.

The Pelikan M400 comes with the original factory box and M400 tag which are in excellent condition.

The NIB is 14C - 585 solid gold Medium point measuring at .78mm when measured using a digital caliper. I have not written with the pen or inked it only to keep it in new old stock condition for the new owner.

This is a beautiful Pelikan M400 in Blue Striped barrel with black cap and is clean as a whistle. It is ready to write or add it to your writing arsenal collection.
